Detail Cleaning

Detail cleaning is in our name because it is the part most contracts quietly skip. Routine cleaning covers the floor and the bins. It does not cover the vent, the ledge, the door frame or the top of the partition.

This is the work that makes a building feel genuinely maintained rather than just recently tidied, and it is what a walkthrough with a client or an inspector actually picks up on.

What the Job Actually Involves

  • High and low detail

Vents, ledges, sills, frames, skirting and the tops of partitions and cabinets.

  • Fixtures and fittings

Light fittings, switch plates, handrails, door furniture and the surfaces everybody touches and nobody cleans.

  • Post construction turnover

Fine dust, sticker residue, splatter and debris removed so a finished space can actually be handed over.

  • One off deep cleans

Before an inspection, after a tenancy, ahead of an open day, or when a building has simply got away from you.

How We Run It

  1. Agree the list

Detail work is defined by what is on the list. We write it down so there is no ambiguity about what you are paying for.

  2. Work top down

High surfaces first so nothing falls onto work already finished.

  3. Detail then floors

Floors last, always. Doing it the other way round is why detail cleans get redone.

  4. Walk it with you

Handed back with a walkthrough, because detail work is judged on the bits you notice second.

Questions We Get Asked

Is this different from your janitorial service?
Yes. Janitorial is the recurring program. Detail cleaning is the deeper, list driven work that either runs periodically alongside it or as a one off.
Can you do a post construction clean before handover?
Yes, that is one of the main reasons people call us for detail work.
How is it priced?
By scope and size, after a walkthrough. It is not something anyone can quote honestly over the phone.
